CHRONIC MONO WAS NO MATCH FOR CHIROPRACTIC HELP WITH IMMUNE SUPPORT
In 2005, Trina Honer was hit with debilitating fatigue and flu-like aches and pains that were so bad she couldn’t even work. “I’ve always been an active person, but it took all of my energy just to shower and dress.” She spent over a year trying to figure out what was wrong and was eventually diagnosed with chronic mononucleosis. “Knowing it was mono helped, but there is no medication for it. Just bed rest,” says Honer. She knew she would need immune system support if she wanted to feel better. That’s when she decided to visit Dr. Cianci.
During Honer’s first visit with Dr. Cianci, they reviewed her health history and diagnosis. Dr. Cianci also took a series of spinal x-rays and gave Honer her first two adjustments. By the end of the first week — which included four visits with two adjustments per visit — Honer says she was already starting to feel better.
“The emotional relief I felt was amazing!” says Honer. “And by the end of that first month I was feeling much more like myself and able to return to work.”
In addition to regular adjustments, Honer also receives treatment for occasional sinus infections. “Dr. Cianci does this wonderful adjustment on my face and neck that alleviates the pressure and headache within 20 minutes of my visit.”
Honer continues to see Dr. Cianci regularly. She visits his office once a week — or more when she gets a cold, has an injury, or gets a migraine. As time has gone on, Honer said that she gets sick less often, which she attributes to Dr. Cianci keeping her immune function nerves in tip top shape. “I don’t want to ever feel like I did 15 years ago,” says Honer. “He gave me my life back and I appreciate him every day!”
